IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ: - Currently Minecraft 1.16.2 is only officially available for Vanilla Minecraft, as well as a very early beta Spigot 1.16.2 jar file we have. If you are running Forge or Paper, you will need to wait for the 1.16.2 update for these to be released. Please keep an eye on our social media, as we will post when these are released, as well as how to update your service. If you are running Minecraft Vanilla however and want to upgrade, or want to try the Beta 1.16.2 Spigot jar, then please see the article below.
How do i update my existing Minecraft server to 1.16.2?
- First, stop your server completely.
2. Download the 1.16.2 server jar file:

Please note this Spigot 1.16.2 jar is a non-polished update, and therefore will have bugs and issues. Please wait for the stable official release for production servers.
3. Once downloaded, visit "File Manager" in your control panel, delete the existing 'Server.jar' file,
4. After deleting the old server.jar file, upload the new one you have just downloaded!
Note - the progress bar will turn green once this file has been uploaded.
5. Once uploaded, just give the server a restart?
